Online tours and activities booking specialist Musement has launched a concierge service for each of the cities in operates in, claiming the move is a world first.
The concierge service will enable Musement users to access the local knowledge of its professional concierges to make reservations, book tickets or organise bespoke events and activities. The service is being offered to users free of charge.
Musement was one of the innovators to pitch its idea at the Innovation Summit at the Phocuswright conference in Florida this week
The firm has forged partnerships with professional concierges from hotels all over the world to bring their knowhow to travellers offering advice and assistance and a chat function.
The service is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Chinese, among other languages.
Musement says its proprietary concierge service is a world first, offering scale opportunities which will enable it to expand quickly in multiple countries.
From December travellers to Milan will be able to use the service and it will then be rolled out to all key European cities, followed by Musement’s most visited cities globally throughout 2016.
The concierges will be on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the Musement app available for both iOS and Android.
