Car rental brokerage firm Holiday Autos has launched a worldwide interactive mapping service for consumers on its website.
The facility, which can be found at www.holidayautos.co.uk/route-planner/, enables travellers to get a 3D view of the roads they will be travelling before departure.
The technology also enables them to ‘virtually’ drive the routes using the flight mode element, with petrol stations clearly marked.
The maps cover more than 1,000 areas including major airports and destinations.
