Travel technology company Comtec has bought web design company Jamber, whose clients include Thomas Cook, Harvey World Travel and Hilton International.

Comtec plans a series of acquisitions following its management buyout last month led by RJD Partners.

Jamber founder Jerry Foot will join Comtec as head of e-commerce.

Comtec chief executive Simon Powell said: “Many of Comtec’s e-commerce clients require web design services and it makes sense for us to offer a complete, integrated, design and delivery programme to clients.”

Jamber will continue to provide web design services for travel and tourism companies, as well as Comtec client and in house work.
