Kirsty Orr promoted in Traveltek shake-up
Traveltek has promoted Kirsty Orr to the newly created role of deputy managing director.
Orr has spent the past year with the Glasgow-based technology specialist as operations director.
Managing director Kenny Picken said the promotion was part of the company’s growth plan and that Kirsty would take over the day-to-day running of the teams across a number of locations.
Traveltek is aiming to quadruple the size of its business this year, from £150 million in customers’ transactions in 2007 to more than £600 million in 2008.
Picken added: “We are already on target to reach this ambitious target after seeing dynamic packaging transactions increase by more than 350% in the first four months of 2008.”
