Abercrombie & Kent has switched its entire search engine marketing account from PHD to Greenlight.

The change of agency follows a competitive pitch for the business including responsibility for the luxury tour operator’s pay-per-click advertising and search engine optimisation.

The London-based agency will use its Quant and ARC digital marketing tools for PPC and SEO respectively.

Abercrombie & Kent marketing director, Ben Blackler, added: “Greenlight’s clear understanding and enthusiasm for our business impressed us from the very start of the pitch process.

“They have a proven track record within the travel industry and we’re sure that their approach will help us stand out in a crowded market place.”

The win is the second major travel client in the past week for Greenlight after it picked up the SEO business for Lastminute.com owned brand, HolidayAutos.

Greenlight chief executive Warren Cowan said: “This project will provide us with an exciting challenge as we work to maximise A&K’s visibility as a leader in luxury travel.

“Our SEO and PPC teams will work together to make this happen, whilst applying some of the industry’s most cutting edge platforms.”
