TravelSupermarket has renewed its white label travel search deal with UK broadband, TV and content provider Virgin Media.

The Virgin Media brand has also selected TravelSupermarket parent company MoneySupermarket to run meta search facilities for loans, credit cards, mortgages, savings and current accounts.

The first travel search deal was signed in March 2007, a period when TravelSupermarket secured a number of white label deals including the Guardian and Telegraph websites.

Virgin’s arch rival in the home TV and broadband market, Sky, recently signed a major partnership with Expedia and TripAdvisor to provide travel functionality on its Sky Travel website.

Chris Nixon, acting managing director at Travelsupermarket.com, said: “We are very pleased to be continuing our relationship with Virginmedia.com.

“It is an important partnership for the business. With new developments now in place we believe it will be a continued success for us, providing good quality traffic to the site.”
