Co-op Travel has appointed ex-Thomson executive Neil Hardy as its new head of e-commerce.


Hardy will be responsible for the launch  of Co-op Travel’s new website, which is scheduled to be released in June. He replaces Daniel Forster who is leaving the travel industry.


He will also be charged with development of online enhancements for the ten websties across the business as well as managing affiliate partnerships and search engine marketing.  


Hardy has worked across the industry including roles at Page & Moy as well as Thomson-owned The First Resort, where he was managing director.


Most recently he was product and e-commerce director at Hays Travel.
