Entertainment systems company Quadriga Worldwide is rolling out its Wi-Fi cloud-based solutions to AccorHotels’ brands throughout Africa.

With more than 40 hotels installed over the past year, Quadriga claims to have become the main internet solution provider for Accor in Africa, rolling out their wireless internet solution – including router, switches, access points and gateway – in Morocco, Benin, Senegal, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Guinea.

The growth of AccorHotels properties in Africa is due to double in coming years and Quadriga is now prepared for incoming requests.

Fabrice Gaultier, regional IT director of AccorHotels for Africa, said: “Quadriga are currently showing AccorHotels their ability to look after our hotels in Africa with efficiency, by providing a true local support with skilled engineers available when needed.

“It is critical for AccorHotels to partner with companies that consider Africa as part of their development strategy like any other region in the world. This is the reason why we decided to work with them.”

Olivier Hennion, managing director of Quadriga Africa, said: “Having the right people at the right place is a true challenge for any company in the world but it takes on a whole new meaning in Africa.

“We are proud to support our customers with the quality of service they expect.”

As well as Wi-Fi solutions, Quadriga Africa offers a full range of services to hotels, including fibre optic networks, television sets and mobile applications.
