AccorHotels is targeting small company business travellers with a new online direct booking and management tool.
AccorHotels Business Solution allows companies to manage their travel policy and bookings in 2,800 hotels around the world.
It will initially be available for French companies, before being expanded to key markets such as Europe next year.
The tool allows employees to book online at the best rates at hotels ranging from Ibis to Sofitel, via an intuitive interface that clearly displays their company’s travel policy.
A spending cap can be set with single monthly invoicing and centralised payment of bookings.
Companies can also monitor hotel spend using detailed reports and analyses.
Cyril Kovarsky, global sales senior vice president, claimed: “With AccorHotels Business Solution, AccorHotels is the first hotel group to provide a simple answer to a key expectation in the SME/SMI corporate market, namely the centralisation of bookings and invoicing, so they can better monitor hotel spending and simplify their expense account management.”
