GoEuro expands its metasearch platform to Switzerland

Metasearch engine GoEuro has expanded into Switzerland – its eighth national market.

The search platform, which combines train, bus and flight options, has added new partnerships with ExpressBus and one of Switzerland’s largest railway companies, SBB.

The move will significantly expand the number of routes connecting Switzerland to other European destinations via bus. Other markets available on the GoEuro website are the UK, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands and Italy.

With this move, GoEuro also becomes the first travel metasearch engine to integrate live data from Swiss Railways.

The site’s unique selling point is that travellers can plan routes to and from local towns and villages and then compare air, rail and bus travel options in a single search.
