Cultural holidays specialist Martin Randall Travel has launched its new website, having switched technology supplier to TigerBay.

The operator says it has had a positive response about the new site having put it live just weeks after bringing in TigerBay’s tour operating sales and management system .

Gary Whyte, e-commerce manager, said “We are really pleased with the new, fully responsive site. We’ve had some very positive feedback from our clients so far.”

The new website, developed by TigerBay along with designers at Brighton-based agency Wild Dog, has been designed specifically to cater for increasing volumes of mobile traffic.

The site has been made easier to navigate and better reflects the design of Martin Randall’s brochure, to offer a consistent cross-channel experience.

Martin Randall claims the site has already seen visitors increase by 20% year-on-year and is hopeful of improving conversion rates due to a simpler four-step booking process.

Whyte added: “At this point last year we had a clear goal of replacing our legacy technology and disparate systems with one integrated website and back office solution.

“Twelve months later, the whole business is using TigerBay’s software to drive efficiency and put our clients at the centre of everything we do.”
