Travelport executive quits to launch Travel Technologists
Former GTA systems boss Alister Beveridge has set up a consultancy called Travel Technologists.
Beveridge left the Travelport-owned business, where he was vice president of application development, at the end of February.
Travel Technologists will provide a variety of services from advice on strategy and system selection to project management.
Other areas covered by the new company include the move from legacy systems, product development, research projects and e-commerce and online settlement systems.
Beveridge, who was IT director at Cosmos prior to GTA, said he felt he could offer a slightly different approach to existing consultancies because of his up-to-date experience and IT background.
