Travel technology developer CWT Digital has released details of the speaker line-up at annual half-day travel conference BrightOn Travel later this month.

Around 200 delegates are expected to converge on Brighton for the third BrightOn Travel, which takes place on September 25 during the town’s annual Digital Festival.

Speakers confirmed include Aaron Ritoper, EMEA strategic partnerships director at Sojern, the global big data marketing platform and David Lewis, Intent Media EMEA business development director.

Ritoper will talk about how brands can engage customers at the right time with the right message, beyond simple paid media campaigns.

Intent Media’s Lewis will shed light on what the convergence of business models online means for travel as Google becomes more like an OTA and customers see no distinction between search and commerce.

Intent Media is a US firm that recently brought its data-driven marketing solution to the UK and Europe from its native US, where it is working with some of the biggest names in travel to help them monetise traffic that does not convert.

In addition, BrightOnTravel will hear from Travelzoo’s Richard Singer, the European managing director of the leading marketing platform.

He will explain how adopting a true mobile strategy requires a fundamental shift in strategy, rather than simply offering a simpler user experience for smaller screen sizes.

Travelzoo’s evolution from an advertising publishing business to a transactional business will illustrate how to win at mobile.

As part of its focus on mobile, BrightOn Travel will also feature a presentation from Alexander Robinson, strategic partnerships manager at mobile hotel booking app Hotel Tonight.

Dan Caplin, CWT Digital managing director, said: “We’re delighted with the strength of this year’s speaking line-up for BrightOn Travel which now in its third year is fast becoming a must-attend even in the annual travel industry calendar.

“As well as offering valuable insight into some crucial areas for the travel sector, it also puts travel on the map during Brighton’s annual digital festival and gives CWT Digital the chance to show the industry some of this exciting vibrant town in which we do our work for travel clients.”
