Executives from Google and Yahoo have been confirmed as headline guests at World Travel Market’s Travel Technology Show.

Senior executives from Carson Wagonlit Travel, ACCOR, bmi regional and Mr & Mrs Smith will also appear in at the event, known as WTM, which will run for four days in London in November.

Anna Chomse, industry head at Google Travel and Andrew Jones, head of search account management at Yahoo, will both offer advice on increasing search engine optimisation.

The Search Engine Update session will take place on Tuesday November 3 – one of five seminars for the Travel Tech Show at WTM, being organised by Paul Richer, founding partner at travel technology consultancy Genesys.

The day’s events will begin with a session from Sam Crowther, head of creative at Bauer Radio, and be rounded off by a What’s Happening in Technology session, hosted by Richer.

The Travel Tech Show at WTM sales manager, Jo Marshall, said: “We’re delighted with this year’s line-up.

“Search Engine optimisation is central to the success of travel companies and Google and Yahoo are best placed to inform delegates of the most effective strategies.

“Anna and Andrew are  just two of many senior executives sharing their expertise at WTM – it is an indication of the high calibre of speakers that WTM London and The Travel Tech Show at WTM can attract and demonstrates why our seminars are must-attend events.”
