Travel wins triggers expansion at DBD Media

Search marketing specialist DBD Media is expanding its team following a run of new travel account wins.

The enlarged team will concentrate on new customers De Vere Hotels and Journey Latin America, which signed up DBD in recent weeks to develop and manage pay-per-click search campaigns.

Account managers Dayo Hazzan and Jules Kilmartin, join from eSearchvision and Consumerbase respectively, while account executive Monika Pletty joins from Ricoh.

DBD also plans to build on its existing search engine optimisation division and has recruited Mark Lewis, formerly with IPC Media, as SEO manager.

Marketing manager Suelyn Jackman said: “The company is growing so we need the support. We think one of the things that differentiate us is the personal service and we want to continue that. We’re also going to build our SEO arm.”

The company already names Mr & Mrs Smith, Low Cost Travel Group and Discover the World among its customers.
