Aviation systems specialist, SITA, is claiming it will save British Airways millions through the implementation of its Airfare Insight software.


The technology is expected to make savings through the removal of legacy technology and enable the airline to react quicker to market dynamics.


The system will sift through competitors’ prices enabling BA to change its prices accordingly and quickly distribute through the any of its channels.


The airline anticipates saving up to US$3 million by getting rid of legacy technology.


Further savings are also expected through an improve ticket audit system.
