Craig Hepburn quits STA Travel
STA Travel is to lose one of the main protagonists behind its web strategy, Craig Hepburn, who is leaving for a new post with Reddot Solutions.
Hepburn, who is currently global webmaster for STA Travel Group, is credited by many with driving the online travel agency’s hugely successful and award winning online presence over recent years
STA Travel has worked with Reddot for three years by using a platform across its portfolio of country sites while significantly growing its online capability.
The online travel agency has developed a number of innovative features during this time including blogs, widgets, RSS products, APIs, Facebook applications and podcasts.
Hepburn said: “I have been with STA Travel now for nearly three years and we have achieved so much in this time with the global web teams and senior managers within the business.
“It’s been a massive challenge but both an exciting and successful one with over 14 countries now live in our global platform.”
Hepburn will be senior marketing manager for digital strategy for Reddot, working across a number of verticals including travel.
