Datalex signs major car hire distribution deal
Dublin-based systems supplier Datalex has signed a deal to provide its users with access to global car rental deals.
The deal, which is with CarTrawler, sees Datalex integrating the car-rental product into its travel distribution platform.
Existing users of the Datalex system will gain immediate access to CarTrawler’s range of car-hire product covering 450 companies across 134 countries.
The deal is anticipated to bring incremental revenue to Datalex customers.
Ornagh Hoban, Datalex vice president for marketing and strategy, said: “Incorporating the CarTrawler procurement capability will enable rich, normalized and real time content procurement from multiple car rental sources which aligned with the reservations and distribution capability of TDP provides significant value-add to our customers.“
