Travelsphere adopts Comtec platform
Comtec has penned a deal to provide its Travelink tour operating system to Travelsphere.
The technology is to be used by more than 300 users within escorted-tours specialist Travelsphere as well as the Page & Moy and Just You brands.
It is hoped the Travelink system will provide Travelsphere customers with more flexible booking options as well as give the company the opportunity to upsell and cross-sell ancillary products.
Travelsphere group chief executive Steve Foster said: “We’ve entered this long-term partnership with Comtec as we believe an upgraded technology platform is fundamental to our ambitious growth plans.
“Specifically, Travelink will help us to deliver our targeted operational efficiencies and to offer increased product choice and flexibility to further improve the high levels of service we provide to Travelsphere customers.
The Travelink system will also be used to develop Travelsphere’s online travel distribution activities.
