Accommodation-only specialist Youtravel.com has unveiled the latest release of its website.

The revamped service aims to be cleaner and easier to use, retaining the elements that work well for agents while adding some new facilities.

Separate sections for luxury, family and all-inclusive properties have been created to provide users with more pictures and information.

The sections also highlight similar properties to those being viewed so as to offer agents and consumers a range of suitable hotels.

The next phase of the website is likely to feature consumer and agent reviews as well as hotel videos.

Youtravel sales and marketing director Paul Riches said some reviews would begin to appear on the site but that the company was still considering whether to build content quickly by bringing feeds from other review sites.

There are also plans to enable consumers and agents to iron out any queries via online messaging with youtravel’s consultants.

Riches also said the next phase of the site, featuring hotel videos, would be introduced within 12 months.

There are further plans to increase content on the site by adding a cities programme within the next few months.
