A group of three is expected to vie for the highly sought after position of managing director at TravelSupermarket.
Travolution has learned the company is still some way from unveiling a replacement for Chris Nixon, who is stepping down as MD to become commercial director as soon as an appointment is made.
One of the first jobs for the new MD will be oversee a relaunch of all or part of a site which has essentially remained the same for over three years.
A internal review of the site is currently underway and users were asked to send feedback to TravelSupermarket about the current look, feel and functionality.
It is understood the results of both the consumer and company review will be completed shortly and changes made to the site either in Q1 or Q2 of 2008.
Nixon announced in November 2007 he would be looking to move back into a hands-on commercial role at the company, giving the new MD room to work on strategy and plans for expansion into new markets.
