Grand Prix motor racing operator Formula One Administration has agreed to extend its white label partnership with Expedia.

The multi-year deal will see the online travel agency provide search and booking facilities for flights, packages and hotels on Formula1.com, a site which is said to attract around 20 million visitors.

Expedia provides while label products for Eurostar, Alitalia, SwissAir, Virgin Express and IcelandAir.

The Distribution division of Expedia, headed by senior vice president David Roche, is targeting a range of “heavyweight” non-travel partners in 2008 as it looks to grow its white label portfolio.

Roche, said: “We have worked together to build a highly successful platform for race fans to book all their travel needs.

“We will continue to work closely with the Formula One team to ensure that we offer simple, cost effective ways to book travel to the Grand Prix season throughout 2008 and beyond.”
