London-based independent travel agent Lee’s Travel has deepened its technology partnership with Dolphin Dynamics opting to use its point of sale solution.

The independent global consolidator has signed an agreement to use the Dolphin platform to sell both directly contracted and third-party suppliers via a single selling system.

An integrated product database will be used to manage pricing, offers and communication with the company’s directly contracted ground suppliers.

Live bookability links have been introduced for travel wholesalers including Tui’s Hotelbeds and Affordable Car Hire.

All enquiries and bookings made using the new modules will be automatically transferred to Lee’s Travel’s existing Dolphin back-office system for on-going booking management and business reporting, eliminating a previously manual processes.

Jasmine Lee, Lee’s Travel’s operations director said, “Deploying an end-to-end Dolphin system will save our consultants a significant amount of time when preparing quotes and completing bookings.

“Ultimately of course this will result in a more efficient service for customers, by replacing manual processes with a seamless, end-to-end booking solution”.

Andy Mills, head of sales and marketing at Dolphin, added, “Bringing Lee’s Travel’s preferred and contracted suppliers into a single selling platform makes the consultant’s job of matching customer’s requirements much easier and faster.

“And the resulting operational efficiency and improved service we believe are key factors to help drive sales growth within travel companies”.

Lee’s Travel is marking 40 years in business this year.
