On The Beach set to raise £300 million with share listing
Online travel agency On the Beach is being tipped for a £300 million fundraising through a float on the stock market.
The move would net founder Simon Cooper and his management team £75 million as they still own 25% of the business, the Sunday Times reported.
It would also bring a strong return for private equity firm Inflexion, which bought a majority stake for £73 million less than two years ago.
On the Beach, set up in a terraced house in Macclesfield, Cheshire, 11 years ago, has hired City investment specialist to oversee the £300 million fundraising.
The company expects to handle one million holidaymakers this year.
