Ryanair’s website will be closed for ten hours from Friday evening for a systems upgrade.
The low-cost carrier’s online check-in service will not be available, as the website and mobile app will be unavailable from 7pm on Friday until 5am on Saturday.
Passengers travelling on Friday and Saturday are being advised to check-in online for their flight prior to the closure.
New bookings or changes to existing flights will not be possible during the web shutdown.
Ryanair is contacting all customers intending to travel on Friday and Saturday by email and SMS text to advise them to check in online on or before Thursday to avoid disruption.
The carrier issued an apology for any inconvenience caused by this web closure and systems upgrade.
A spokesman said: “This web closure/systems upgrade will take 10 hours, during which time our online check-in service will not be available.
“Flight bookings and changes will also be unavailable during this period.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this upgrade, which will further improve Ryanair.com, Europe’s largest travel website.”
