Pegasus to run Carlson chain payment technology
Carlson Hotels Worldwide will consolidate commission payments and collections for travel supplier and agents across its major brands through systems provided by Pegasus Solutions.
The CHW chains – including Days Inn, Radisson, Regent and Park Plaza – will use the Pegasus products, Rules Engine and Travelcom, as part of the deal.
Almost 1,000 hotel destinations in 71 countries will use the technology to streamline financial services across the brands, Pegasus said.
Carlson vice president of distribution and reservation services, Christine Brosnahan, said: “We wanted to globally adopt a simplified approach to managing commission services for our hotels to the travel agent community.
“The travel agent community is a valued intermediary for all of our hotel brands. Ensuring that commissions are paid timely, accurately, and in the format that an agency requests is key to continuing these relationships.”
