Thomas Cook opts for Coupa’s procure to pay solution

Thomas Cook has selected cloud-based spend management company Coupa Software for its procure to pay (P2P) solution in European markets.

Thomas Cook has selected cloud-based spend management company Coupa Software for its procure to pay (P2P) solution in European markets.

The roll-out is intended to provide a flexible and easy-to-use solution that will “consolidate and standardise processes”.

Coupa’s product provides an interface across both procurement and invoicing modules, as well as a common data model that can be fully integrated into Thomas Cook’s ERP back-end payment systems.

Nikolaus Kirner, Thomas Cook Group’s chief procurement officer, said: “Coupa´s integrated cloud based procure to pay solution allows us to quickly onboard all our employees into one single platform that is flexible and easy-to-use for procurement and accounts payable.

“The solution will also allow us to provide key strategic insight into our group-wide spend.”

Rob Bernshteyn, chief executive of Coupa, said Thomas Cook’s selection will allow the leisure travel company to focus on transforming and simplifying its procurement operations, to help drive the complexity out and the cost down.
