Cosmos has added around 300 hotel and destination maps and videos to its main website as well as its accommodation arm, Somewhere2stay.com.

Cosmos commercial and product director Stuart Jackson said the properties were outselling accommodation without videos but stressed they are the operator’s top selling properties.


He added that the hotels with videos were currently being tagged in order to analyse online behaviour more closely.


The operator is also carrying out work on the websites to ensure the videos and maps are easy to find.


Jackson said the plan was to highlight the properties with videos and maps within the availability search as well as create a dedicated section listing which properties and destinations have videos.
