Pablo Caspers appointed chief air supplier for eDreams Odigeo

Air Berlin online and direct sales vice president, Pablo Caspers, has been named as chief air supplier for European travel e-commerce giant eDreams Odigeo.

Air Berlin online and direct sales vice president, Pablo Caspers, has been named as chief air supplier for European travel e-commerce giant eDreams Odigeo.

He takes over management of the business division, previously led by Javier Bellido, who is staying on as managing director in Spain and as director of a new travel division for the group.

Bellido has transferred his role of managing airline providers to Caspers in order to take up his new responsibilities of managing both the Spanish market, where eDreams Odigeo has its main office of 1,000 staff and heading up corporate business.

They will work together for a period of time to ensure a seamless transition.

Bellido said: “Pablo Caspers’ experience and his in-depth knowledge of the airline sector will be an essential factor in increasing the value of our proposal and establishing a closer collaboration with the airlines”.

Caspers added: “I am thrilled to be joining Europe’s largest online travel agency group, with its first-rate team of professionals, and I look forward to helping them maintain their world leadership in this sector.”
