SiteMinder said the acquisition, completed this month, significantly increases the direct booking contribution from within Asia, particularly Indonesia and Thailand, where the majority of Globekey’s 1,200 global hotel customers are.

Globekey, which launched in 2000 to provide online reservation systems for hotels, apartments, inbound tour operators and travel portal websites, will continue to operate as its own distinct brand.
