A new website optimised for mobile device web browsers has been introduced by Wizz Air.
The mobile site complements the budget carrier’s existing desk-top website and its Apple and Android apps.
In addition to increased functionality through updates, the mobile site will be available in eight languages.
Head of marketing and brand, Johan Eidagen, said: “Our studies show expanding use of mobile devices by our customers to find and book flights in Wizz, and our new mobile site makes that process much easier.
“The first release focuses on the most common booking requirements and we’ll add functionality for check-in and services in the coming weeks.”
He added: “We’ve seen the number of mobile visitors to the Wizz website recently grow as a percentage of all visits, making the addition of the new mobile version very timely.
“Our customers are always eager to use new tools to make the Wizz experience even easier than in the past and our new mobile website gives them that functionality.”
