Trip planning app and website Gogobot has opened up its API to provide a platform allowing other travel brands, restaurants and hotels to use its rich content.

Three partner sites have gone live with the integration at launch of the platform today including HomeAway, Leonardo Hotels and Kiwi Collection.

Travis Katz, founder of Gogobot, said: “We’re excited to see well known brands in the travel industry leverage our API platform.

“By integrating Gogobot into their sites, our partners are helping all kinds of travelers – from family travelers to foodies – find amazing things to do that are perfect for them.”

Gogobot says it has helped 16 million travellers research their trips, helping them to find restaurants, sites and attractions.

HomeAway, which offers one million properties in 190 countries, has launched 14 new city guides powered by Gogobot.

The partnership means all 85 Leonardo properties now offer local area information on their websites.

Kiwi Collection is powering reviews for all of the 2,300 hotels it offers in 130 countries.
