Dorling Kindersley to produce content for Heart websites

Travel guide publisher Dorling Kindersley has secured a deal with UK radio station Heart to provide online travel functionality on its websites.

Visitors to Heart’s suite of websites – including,,  and – will be able to create their own personalised travel guides to download as well as browse destination content.

The customised travel guides are an extension to the DK system created earlier this year following the relaunch of the site.

Global Radio-owned Heart is offering VIP members of its website extra DK-themed offers including the opportunity win print guidebooks.

There are currently no online search or booking facilities on the Heart websites.

Global Radio senior brand development manager, Andrew Moore, said: “This is a unique partnership exclusive to Heart VIP members and will provide relevant and interesting information for our listeners, creating a truly engaging social network.”
