Conxxe’s Alex Rogers recognised by Phocuswright’s ‘35 under 35’

An employee of ground transportation provider Conxxe has been named as one of ‘35 under 35’ at the Phocuswright Young Leaders Summit.

Senior online partnerships manager Alex Rogers was selected as one of the rising stars in the travel industry.

The initiative encourages executive development through experienced guest speakers, networking and an incubatory environment.

The 35 people selected represent an elite group of ambitious professionals under the age of 35.

This year’s summit will be held in Dublin on May 12-15, in conjunction with Phocuswright Europe.

Rogers started his career working for TNS on global market research with clients including Unilever, Sara Lee and Proctor & Gamble, before moving into travel with luxury villa rental agency The Thinking Traveller where he was a B2C sales team leader.

He then joined Holiday Taxis as online partnerships manager to expand its online position across Europe, before helping launch the company’s global brand, Conexxe.

Rogers said: “I’m delighted to have been selected as one of the Young Leaders for this year’s summit.

“This is an exciting opportunity to meet with and learn from other young travel executives in a unique environment that encourages our development.

“2015 is going to be an exciting year for both myself and Conxxe with the launch of on demand transfers – this huge honour adds to the excitement.”
