Holidaysplease bolsters family offering with acquisition of

Luxury online travel agency is to develop its family holiday business, having acquired Quo Vadis.

The Stanstead Abbotts-based upmarket family holidays specialist trades under its brand

The value of the deal was not disclosed, but Holidaysplease says it remains on the lookout for further acquisitions to fuel its ambitious growth plans.

Holidaysplease will take over the entire business, including the five existing members of staff. The brand will be retained and the business run as a standalone entity.

Holidaysplease director, Charles Duncombe, said: “We are delighted to welcome Quo Vadis to the Holidaysplease group.

“The acquisition will help us expand our family holiday offering which should be welcome news to the large proportion of our customers who honeymooned with us a few years ago.

“As well as adding more product and expertise to us, they will also bring an additional seven figure turnover to us.”

In terms of future acquisitions Duncombe added: “We are pleased with our organic growth of 30% last year.

“But as we have very ambitious growth plans for the business, we feel that further complimentary business acquisitions will help.”
