Boxever clinches first US customer as international expansion continues

Dublin-based predictive marketing specialist Boxever has clinched its first deal in the USA.

Dublin-based predictive marketing specialist Boxever has clinched its first deal in the USA.

It has signed an agreement with Boston-based InterRail LLC, a rail booking firm specialising in Italy and Europe.

It owns the ItaliaRail, ItaliaPass, ItaliaRooms, and ItaliaDeals brands and offers transportation, accommodations and local experiences.

The new business win continues a rapid rise to prominence for Boxever, which has secured deals with Air New Zealand, Ryanair and eDreams Odigeo in recent months.

InterRail has partnered with Boxever to offer personalised service and information to its global customer base.

Mike Fuller, chief executive of InterRail, said: “Engaging and serving our customers is our top priority.

“Boxever allows us to better anticipate their needs, deliver great travel experiences, and create a uniquely personalised conversation with our clients, laying the foundation for a life-long relationship.”

Boxever predicted it will see similar demand for its services in the US that it has seen in other markets, having opened an office in Boston last year.

Dave O’Flanagan, chief executive and co-founder of Boxever, said “The travel market is rapidly expanding and evolving, and today’s travelers have more options and information on where and how to book than ever before.

“With competition for traveller spend as fierce as ever, we expect to see strong demand from US-based travel companies looking to create a competitive edge by leveraging customer data to personalise the customer experience.”
