Primera chooses d-flo to improve its customer communications

Scandinavian tour operator Primera Travel Group has chosen software from UK company d-flo to improve the quality of its post-reservation customer communications.

Use of the TravelComms software is designed to provide holidaymakers with improved information about their breaks with more professional, personalised and better branded customer communications.

Ian McKee, chief information officer of Primera, which carries more than one million passengers a year, said: “In the leisure travel sector, we perhaps live under the illusion that we sell actual sun, sand and palm trees to our guests. In reality, we deliver them one critical travel document.

“I believe that d-flo’s technology and business enthusiasm will allow us to better shape these documents creatively and properly reflect both our character and commitment to our guests via all of our ongoing communications.”

He added: “In Scandinavia the digital lifestyle is central to service and communication.

“The flexibility of combining our web content into our travel documents, combined with the ability to design these emails and documents to showcase our tour operators’ qualities is compelling.
