Expedia Affiliate Network has struck a strategic partnership with German travel software specialist Peakwork to use its distribution platform.The deal will see Expedia hotels made available through dynamic packaging and hotel-only offers.
In addition Peakwork’s so-called ‘Player-Hub’ platform will see 120,000 properties added globally.
EAN will provide hotel offers in the Player-Hub network with a special focus on three to five star hotels and properties from the leading hotel chains,Peakwork’s existing customers will see a broadening of the product range including for niche markets.
Peakwork said packages can be individually adaptable and offered using various distribution channels, including travel portals, multi-operator travel agencies and meta-search engines.
EAN’s vice-president sales EMEA, Bart van Eijck, said: “Working with peakwork in this exciting time of increased international distribution allows EAN to offer our rates in dynamic packages utilising their new technology.
“We anticipate this meeting the needs and demand of the package and hotel only operators.”
