Managing director Paul Furner said the company, which employs more than 150 staff in south west London is predicted to generate a turnover of £200 million for this year.

He added: “At a time when it is often said that there is no loyalty on the web we would beg to differ. Our levels of repeat and recommended business suggest that we have a real affinity with our customers which we plan to build upon in the coming months.”

Meanwhile online bed bank Alpharooms came 20th in the survey having generated growth of 121.2% from sales of £5.5 million.

Managing director Jason Fry said: “The growth of the company has seen us strengthen our team in Sheffield from a staff of just 20 in 2004 to more than 80 people, and this accolade is testament to the hard work of the entire team.”
