Profits at Lotus Group rose by 20% last year to top £16 million.
The group, which runs the brands DialAFlight, Supertravel and Lotus Travel, saw profits for the year to October 2014 increase from £13.4 million in the previous 12 months.
Turnover was up to £315 million at the group, which also has a charitable arm.
Founder Peters Stephens declined to take a dividend last year but took home £2.9 million in pay, according to a Mail on Sunday report.
Company directors said they were “very satisfied that the overall performance was in line with the previous year”.
