A new online information hub ‘My B&B’ has been released by eviivo for current and prospective B&B owners, with guidance on how to run a successful business.
My B&B covers a range of topics on how to run a modern-day B&B, from the legalities of operating and marketing a property, to providing outstanding services on-site.
There will also be regular updates on the changing face of the industry such as the emergence of the ‘sharing economy.’
Eviivo’s head of online, Michelle Goff, said: “B&Bs are an intrinsic part of British culture so we want to offer an online resource that makes entering this important market viable and enjoyable.
She added: “eviivo is an all-in-one, online bookings provider used by more than 5,300 B&Bs and hotels across the UK so we launched this site to help our customers make running a B&B simpler, the same objective behind the creation of eviivo’s software systems.”
The site offers practical information, divided into five distinct categories: how to start, promotion, running the business, customer service and food and drink.
David Weston, chief executive of UK B&B Association, added: “eviivo have created a practical and useful tool for owners with this site. I’m certain that many of the 25,000 B&B operators throughout Britain will find this an effective resource for their businesses.”
