Travelport has renewed its distribution agreement in Azerbaijan and Georgia with Galileo Caucasus LLC.

Travelport has renewed its distribution agreement in Azerbaijan and Georgia with Galileo Caucasus LLC.

Galileo Caucasus LLC has been distributing Travelport’s content, products and services in both countries since 2010.

The multi-year deal is part of Travelport’s strategy of building a strong presence in Eastern Europe.

The announcement follows the recent full content agreement with Azerbaijan Airlines, enabling Travelport-connected agencies to access all of the national carrier’s content.

Marcin Pilarski, Travelport’s managing director Eastern Europe, said: “We are pleased to continue our mutually beneficial relationship with Galileo Caucasus LLC which has built a solid foundation in both Azerbaijan and Georgia.

“We are also pleased that our presence in Azerbaijan has been further strengthened by signing a full content agreement with the national carrier in Azerbaijan at the end of last year. This recent deal should significantly improve the effective delivery of our products and services to travel agencies and to grow our business in the countries.”
