Turkish Airlines is using Innova, a Turkish software developer and systems integration company in Turkey, to digitise its cabin management processes.

The new Digital Cabin Management System (DCMS) will allow flight attendants to file all necessary reports, such as flight reports, supply orders and other critical communications instantly, using iPads instead of a paper-based system. The DCMS will also help staff to address important issues as soon as they arise.

The first phase of the project was to issue iPads to over 2,000 senior flight attendants.

The system will save flight attendants considerable time and reduce paper use by one tonne per month.
