Fledgling social networking and review site Boo.com is to add a flight search engine to its system as it celebrates six months in operation.

The Web Reservations International-owned site, which launched in May 2007, resurrecting one of the most infamous URLs from the dot-com era, is also expected to unveil a number of hotel partnerships in the coming weeks.

The flight search engine will work alongside the existing pay-per-click advertising for a number of airline websites.

Boo hotel product manager Erica Murphy said: “We are constantly upgrading and adding new features to the site.

“The response to our PPC model has been extremely positive with a large number of independent hotels as well as some of the larger chain hotels participating.”
