Meta search group provider Global Travel Market is continuing its rapid growth with a dedicated engine for the Middle East haven of Dubai.
The site – DubaiTravelMarket.co.uk – will be launched in early-2008 and aimed at UK travellers looking for flights to the United Arab Emirates and accommodation in the capital city.
Chief executive Dave Simmons said the content feed will be provided by airlines and UK online travel agencies.
Simmons said: “As the travel market becomes even more competitive, destinations are realising just how important it is to ensure their marketing is reaching the right customers.
“With the launch of Dubai Travel Market, not only can we ensure that we are attracting the right audience to the site but by offering them such a wealth of product, we are confident they will find whatever they need.”
GTM is expected to car hire and travel insurance channels to the site for launch.
Ian Scott, director of the UK and Ireland for the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing said: “The platform is inclusive of all facets of the distribution network which means we can embrace our suppliers, partners and tour operators alike.
“Ultimately, it will help close the gap between ‘lookers’ and ‘bookers’ and convert interest into holidays to Dubai.”
