Airline Network to relaunch in 2008

The Airline Network website will relaunch in early-2008 as part of a major rebranding exercise across the whole Gold Medal Travel group.

The company has enlisted the help of Manchester-based Cheetham Bell JWT to develop a wider corporate strategy including what sources say will be a significant makeover of, one of top 20 flight websites in the UK.

The Gold Medal Travel Group is also expected abandon is existing trade-only strategy in order to target consumers directly.

The rebranding of Gold Medal is likely to be supported by a consumer-facing advertising campaign in January.
