CheapHolidayDeals has unveiled its second major piece of functionality in the space of a week with the launch of a dedicated ski channel on the site.

The Internet Business Group-owned site – bought from Cheapflights in the summer of 2006 – will feature ski package deals from around 100 resorts in Europe, US and Canada.

A series of guides to skiing and ski holidays are also to be made available to users of the site.

Maz Darvish, chief executive of IBG said: “Whilst beach holidays are served by a plethora of websites featuring both deals and content, there is a distinct lack of websites serving the snow market.

“With this new channel, CheapHolidayDeals.co.uk intends to improve the accessibility of ski holidays to the wide audience of holiday bargain finders on the web. We’ve followed our unique approach of enabling visitors to browse for available deals, rather than searching for them.

“This approach enables prospective holiday makers to get a very strong feel for deals that are ‘out there’ at any given point and draw ideas and inspiration from it.”
