Vibe named as Expedia Partner Solutions certified technology partner

Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) launched the elite partner scheme yesterday at annual trade show Travel Technology Europe in London.

UK travel technology supplier Vibe has been named among Expedia’s first Certified Technology Partners.

Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) launched the elite partner scheme yesterday at annual trade show Travel Technology Europe in London.

The EPS Certified Technology Partner Program is designed to support Expedia’s platform partners helping them to distinguish themselves from their competitors.

Fritz Oberhummer, account management platforms EMEA at Expedia Partner Solutions, said:

“We were really excited about the technology that Vibe can offer. It’s vital for us that we have strong platform partners in each region and Vibe’s technology and commitment to us makes us confident that we can provide best-in-class solutions to tour operators   in the UK and Northern Europe.”

Vibe has adopted Expedia Partner Solution’s newest API architecture called EPS Rapid.

Connecting to more than 500,000 accommodations with rich content and competitive rates, EPS Rapid is described as a “fast and light API with a modular format allowing versatility to suit individual travel businesses”.

EPS Rapid enables a rate to be held for up to ten minutes while other aspects of a booking are finalised. Its modular architecture lets users integrate only what they need, and a simple API path with URL linking means integrations are intuitive and requests are targeted so only the necessary data is delivered.

Martin Eade, group e-commerce director at Vibe, said: “We’re delighted to have achieved certified status from Expedia Partner Solutions – it’s testament to the hard work of our team in showcasing the great tech that Vibe offers.

“It’s great to see Vibe and Expedia Group working together more closely to deliver a seamless booking experience for customers in the UK and Northern Europe.”
