Airline data provider Routehappy has launched a new service to track the type and availability of onboard beverages.

The new ‘Amenity’ from Routehappy, which is part of ATPCO, will also include cost details of drinks, with information immediately available to subscribers. The group has also enhanced its food ‘Amenity’, which will feature a comprehensive list of all food types for select airlines.

This brings the total number of tracked amenities up to eight: Seat, Aircraft, Layout, Wi-Fi, Entertainment, Power, Food/Enhanced Food, and Beverages.

Routehappy currently has Beverages and Enhanced Food data for approximately a dozen global airlines, including Qantas, with more airlines in queue for development. As with all other amenities tracked by Routehappy, its team of airline researchers will continuously update this latest amenity data to reflect the airlines’ latest offerings.

The new data is available immediately to all Routehappy Amenities subscribers. However, Enhanced Food and Beverages are both Premium Amenities and only available to airlines with Pro subscription tiers.

Robert Albert, chief executive of Routehappy by ATPCO, said: “Routehappy is the industry standard for airline rich content, and the only company to track complex flight amenity data for the benefit of the entire industry.

“Enhancing food and adding beverages, including whether or not a passenger gets alcoholic drinks included with their ticket, is a big step forward in helping airlines modernize and improve the flight shopping experience.

“We look forward to working with more airline partners so their customers have an easy to understand data set about features that matter to their flight.”
