Online travel portal HolidayPirates has surpassed ten million fans on its Facebook page.
The seven year old travel deals site has always placed a high focus on social media, with Facebook in particular.
The site, which started at a travel blog sharing its founders’ tips for exploring the world on a budget, has gained a global following across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.
The Facebook page currently reaches fans from 58 countries around the world from Algeria to Uruguay.
HolidayPirates uses its Facebook page to drive awareness through multiple daily posts, covering an array of travel topics that educate and inform fans about low cost travel as well as promoting their own deals.
